The Brooks Hyperion 3 is a neutral, lightweight road running shoe designed for training workouts, track work and long runs. The midsole uses DNA FLASH v2 nitrogen infused foam for a springy, responsive ride, with added foam in the midsole and sockliner for extra comfort. The upper is a double jacquard mesh built for breathability with a midfoot lockdown design. The outsole uses RoadTack rubber, a lightweight compound for durability and road traction. The shoe has an 8mm heel to toe drop, with a 37mm heel stack height and 29mm forefoot stack height, and weighs 8.5 oz (241 g).
