The Brooks Ghost Max 4 is a maximum cushion road running shoe designed for daily training. The midsole uses nitrogen infused DNA LOFT v3 foam for impact absorption, combined with a GlideRoll Rocker system and low offset that actively assists heel to toe transitions. The upper is an engineered mesh with a seamless sock like fit and a padded collar and tongue for breathability and support. The outsole is durable rubber with a segmented design and high abrasion zones at the heel and forefoot, working with the rocker geometry. A linear last design accommodates varied foot shapes and orthotics on a broad, stable base. The shoe has a 6mm heel to toe drop, with a 39mm heel stack height and 33mm forefoot stack height, and weighs 10.2 oz (289 g).
